Hi Deviation
Roller Bogie Jar

This jar is radically different from any other mechanical jar available today.

When Wireline Engineering invented the Roller Bogie conveyance system it raised an intriguing dilemma - for the first time it became possible to run conventional wireline to target depth at even near-horizontal deviations but the limitations of existing jar technology meant that you frequently couldn't do anything when you got there. The Hi Deviation Roller Bogie Jar is Wireline Engineering's response to this problem and represents a radical step forward in mechanical jarring technology and performance.

Unique to Wireline Engineering, this tool has virtually no internal friction and, when used in conjunction with Roller Bogie conveyance tools throughout the rest of the wireline toolstring, provides a low-friction system that allows greater impact forces and better control at surface of jarring action downhole. The advantage is especially evident at higher deviations and takes conventional slickline operations beyond existing boundaries.

These tools are original designs by Wireline Engineering and are protected by patent.
