Seal Bore Protection Sleeve

Protection sleeves can be configured to locate with a no-go, using gravity alone to keep them in position within the sealbore. Alternatively, protection sleeves can be designed to lock inside any third party profile, held securely by collet fingers and correct setting confirmed by a tell tale prong.

When deployed conventionally, protection sleeves use a standard GS running/pulling tool, requiring two separate trips in hole. Protection sleeves can also be supplied in "Drop Off" mode using specific running tools, allowing the sleeve to be installed and retrieved during a single intervention run, saving time and reducing risk by eliminating additional trips in hole.

Protection sleeves from Wireline Engineering can be retrofitted to any third party completion equipment and allow large diameter intervention tools to access the wellbore below, without retrieval of the protection sleeve in the process.
