New Oriented Perforating Tool has been gaining significant track record in Qatar -

Wireline Engineering's new Oriented Perforating Tool was developed to allow effective and easy orientation of wireline perforating guns in deviated wells. The device is proprietary to Wireline Engineering and allows a pre-determined orientation to be "dialed in" prior to deployment. While downhole, gravity automatically controls gun orientation to the planned toolface setting.
During recent weeks, more than thirty successful oriented perforating operations have been performed with this new technology and Wireline Engineering now looks forward to rolling this tool out to the global perforating community.
